Possibilities of using zooplankton removed by the river Płonia from lakes to feed young fish

Abstract
The biomass of zooplankton removed by the river Płonia from the lake Płoń, amounting to ca 135 000 kg a year, can serve as food for about 5 million young fishes. There is a possibility of utilising this biomass to feed young fish cultured in ponds or cages.
