Maximillian Wagner receives Best Talk Award at SEEIC 2022

Maximillian Wagner, a PhD student at the University of Graz and University of Antwerp, received the Best Talk Award at this year’s 2nd Southeast European Ichthyological Conference (SEEIC). 

The scientific event took place between the 12th and 15h of October in Supetar, Croatia. In this scenic island town, ichthyologists from Southeast Europe and beyond gathered to present their research on the region’s marine and freshwater ichthyofauna. 

As sponsor of the conference, Pensoft granted a Best Talk Award and a free publication in the open-access journal Acta Ichthyologica et Piscatoria to the winner. 

Wagner’s talk “Population structure and connectivity of the triplefin blennyTripterygion tripteronotum in the Adriatic Sea” was presented as part of the Biodiversity and Conservation session.
