John G. Phillips joins Acta Ichthyologica et Piscatoria as a subject editor for genetics

John G. Phillips has joined Acta Ichthyologica et Piscatoria as a new subject editor for genetics.

Currently an Assistant Professor at Valdosta State University in Georgia, his research program focuses on the genomics of biodiversity, with ongoing projects on reptiles, amphibians, and land snails.

"While I don't have a lot of work on fishes in my bibliography, I will bring an outside perspective from a researcher who works on genomic questions across taxa. Please don't hesitate to reach out and I hope to see some great manuscripts come across my desk soon!"
